Worked in XP teams to create Customer Service web applications for VerizonWireless.com using Java. Utilized XML DOM and XSL stylesheets to transform the data into HTML. Other responsibilities include the following: making enhancements to existing PL/SQL code, making changes to static HTML files, updating data using SQL scripts, some graphics work in Adobe Photoshop, and some shell scripting.

Team-lead (and surrogate manager) for 6 developers working to create a new web-based (PL/SQL) content management tool suite to manage and publish the E-Commerce data to the new VerizonWireless.com web site. The product was an attractive, intuitive and powerful application that streamlined processes, thus saving money while expediting the delivery of information to the market.

Instrumental in all aspects of the SDLC (business analysis, design, and development) for the creation of a staggering number of Intranet applications (most departmental and some enterprise-wide) utilizing the Lotus Domino web platform. Instrumental in adopting an object oriented approach to development within the Lotus Domino platform. Managed a small team of 4 developers to ensure that over 100 Notes/Domino Intranet applications (many defined as mission critical) were tested and successfully made Y2K compliant.

Installed and managed several Lotus Notes/Domino servers and gateways. Instrumental in large-scale deployment of Lotus Notes, migration from cc:Mail to Lotus Notes mail, and implementation of the Lotus Notes SMTP gateway. Created and managed hundreds of Lotus Notes mail accounts. Created and deployed Lotus Notes Intranet applications, including the first company-wide on-line phone directory.
