Built a decentralized data layer to allow anyone to run privacy-preserving machine learning algorithms.

Created an internal analytics platform and improved processing infrastructure. Led a team to design and develop HIPAA-compliant APIs for sharing data between partners, live reporting dashboards, and statistical learning tools.

Worked in the Thakor Brain-Computer Interface lab on designing microfluidic wafers in AutoCAD, developing PDMS devices with microfabrication and lithography techniques, designing nanowire arrays for interfacing with peripheral nerves, and building electrical and optogenetic stimulation platforms for studying microenvironment-specific neuron stimulation.

Created pipelines for processing raw RNA data and getting unique, high quality reads. Developed downstream analytics pipelines and diagnosis scripts to verify the discovery of a potential new class of RNAs. Wrote up and submitted findings in a R01 grant.

Worked in the Hoke Neuroscience Lab on designing microfluidic devices for conducting in vitro experiments. Used them to find neuroprotective agents to help chemotherapy patients. Discovered a promising agent and tested it with in vivo mice models. Verified and published findings.

Developed new methods of sequencing and qPCR using current Ion Torrent systems to get higher sensitivity. Designed and tested ideas to address molecular biology and signal processing related issues with the Ion P1 Chip.
