At LifeSize I was responsible for the all product phases, from concept through continuation engineering, for a variety of products related to B2B Video Conferencing. The products I designed included endpoints (the specialized hardware codec boxes that go in racks or credenzas), microphones, conference phones, cameras, and all in one systems (integrated speaker, microphone, display, codec, camera).I handled outsourcing of Industrial Design to Fahrenheit Design, and the process of getting our products look and feel established and current. I grew the team from myself, to a team of 3 engineers + on site and off site engineer contractors during periods of overflow. I became the first engineer at LifeSize promoted to Logitech's highest technical role, Distinguished Engineer.
