As the founder and CEO of Beyond Zero-Dedicated Development Consultants (bz-ddc.com), I lead a cutting-edge real estate and technology development company that builds zero-carbon emission ultra-luxury boutique eco-resorts in remote wilderness and urban locations worldwide. I formed and led United Architects, a diverse, multi-disciplinary, international team selected as one of five finalists in the prestigious World Trade Center, NY Design Competition. I am also the founder and executive director of The Institute for Architecture and Urban Studies (institute-ny.org). This 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization introduces students to the culture of architecture through the lens of the city. Some of my notable projects include the design of Barclay’s 1.5 million sf North American Headquarters building; the Rodin Museum in Seoul; Sotheby’s World Headquarters in New York; the Temporary Viewing Platform at Ground Zero, NY; the Columbus Indiana Learning Center; Macy’s Herald Square Flagship Historic Renovation and Rehabilitation; the original 1864 American Express Building in Tribeca, an ultra-luxury multi-family residential condominium and conversion; a $4B+ resort and casino in Las Vegas; the world-famous Ambani Residence Tower, Antilla, Mumbai; the Trump World Tower, luxury condominiums and hotel; 20+ award-winning retail stores for Bloomingdale's; as well as multiple high-end private residential projects; and many more. I am passionate about fostering collaborative environments, driving innovation, and achieving design excellence. I have won over 40 major design awards and my work is in the Permanent Collection of the Museum of Modern Art, NY. I hold a Master of Architecture from Princeton University and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Amherst College.
