Reports to the Managing Director of Global Partnerships and Support and coordinates Global Programs’ international health and safety strategy. Serves as a resource for all University students, parents, faculty, staff, and administrators regarding health, safety, and security abroad. Collaborates with key stakeholders and is responsible for the development, refinement, and implementation of policies, procedures, and activities associated withglobal travel preparedness and response for BU students, faculty, and staff traveling abroad for any University-sponsored or sanctioned activity and is a key point of contact for BU’s International Travel Risk Policy. Works closely with colleagues within Global Programs, and specifically with the Global Programs leadership team.

Leads, manages, and supervises a team of 11 full time CVS Health, contract employees, and on-site vendor personal responsible for all aspects of CCTV video management systems in over 9,000 Retail pharmacy locations, 23 distribution centers, and approximately 50 corporate offices. Responsible for repair and maintenance of all CCTV system components across CVS Health’s nationwide Retail line of business including over 300,000 CCTV cameras and 10,000 hybrid video recorders including the relationship with seven large, regional security vendors and three national security vendors. Responsible for providing CCTV subject matter expertise to all large-scale facility projects including new builds, expansions, relocations, and closures. Responsible for regulatory and internal audits of CCTV camera coverage and other video management system attributes to comply with laws, regulatory requirements, and company policy. Responsible for intake, processing, and response to all internal and external requests for video evidence in support of legal, civil, and internal investigations.

Led 4 teams comprised of 37 full time CVS Health and 61 contract employees that staff 5 individual 24/7 operations centers. These centers are responsible for all burglar alarms, access alarms, fire alarms, all-hazards threat/risk monitoring and non-IT incident management for all 300,000+ CVS Health employees and all 10,000+ CVS Health facilities. Additionally, they are responsible for physical security at all non-retail sites (CCTVs, access control and guard dispatch) and for the CVS Health Covid-19 Command Center that coordinates all operational response to covid-19 incidents within the enterprise.

Led a team of 6 full time CVS Health and 20 contract employees that staff the 24/7 CVS Health Operations Center responsible for all-hazards threat/risk monitoring and non-IT incident management for all 300,000+ CVS Health employees and all 11,000+ CVS Health facilities. - Recognized by the CVS Health Chief People Officer for establishing, developing, and leading the CVS Health Covid-19 Command Center responsible for coordinating all operational response and mitigation actions for cases of possible Covid-19 exposure within the company during the entirety of the pandemic. - Named one of seven finalists for recognition as the CVS Health Veteran of the Year after only nine months of employment with the company for my dedication to keeping fellow employees and customers safe during the pandemic.

Under the direction of the Mayor, City of Providence, is responsible for ensuring the planning and operations of the Emergency Management Agency & Office of Homeland Security, coordinating community exercise programs, coordinating assigned emergency management activities with internal and external departments and agencies, and other assigned responsibilities. The Director assumes the overall responsibility for the management of the Emergency Management Center (EOC) and for advising the Chief Executive on local government emergency operations.

Chair of an academic department and professor at a four-year, private, liberal arts college with 14 full-time staff and faculty and an annual budget of over $100k from multiple funding streams. Principle advisor to the commander of a 3,000+ Army unit on all aspects of CBRN defense and operations. Responsible for coordinating logistics, administration, training and operations for two Iraq Army divisions, one Iraq Border Police brigade, an international border point of entry, and an Iraqi National Police division, totaling approximately 46,000 Iraq security force personnel. Provided direct administrative, logistical and operational assistance to 40 teams (eleven U.S. Soldiers each) working directly with Iraqi units.• Consistently praised by my direct supervisor and the Regimental Commander as one of the best performing officers in the unit and the best chemical officer they had worked with in their careers• Performed all duties under the extreme stress of 15 months deployed to Iraq

Supervised and managed a staff of 11 personnel responsible for the Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) defense plans, equipment and training for a 30,000+ person Army Division; my efforts to synchronize reports and analytics from across all staff sections of the Division resulted in streamlined turn-in, analysis, and presentation of readiness reporting results to the Commanding General of the Division.

In charge of a 179 Soldier company during 12 months of combat operations in Iraq. Responsible for personnel management, training, logistics, operations and organizational leadership of the unit. Responsible for the employment, accountability and maintenance of over $28 million worth of specialized CBRN defense equipment and a fleet of 53 vehicles. Led HAZMAT response, security escort, and local security patrols in Baghdad, Iraq.• Personally credited by supervisor for the performance turn-around and ultimate success of the unit after the previous unit commander was relieved shortly before deploying to Iraq

Led one of only two 182 Soldier biological agent detection companies in the U.S. Army with over $49 million worth of equipment, including a fleet of 88 vehicles. Responsible for personnel management, training, logistics, operations and organizational leadership. Subject matter expert on the employment of biological agent detection, biological sample/evidence collection and biological sample/evidence transport for one of four U.S. Army Corps. Built the company from scratch; responsible for the procurement of all personnel, equipment, facilities and services necessary to begin operations.• Performance consistently rated above that of peers by both my direct supervisor and senior supervisor• Concurrently led the Battalion Rear Detachment for a deployed Chemical Battalion of over 450 Soldiers. Monitored the maintenance and accountability of all unit CBRN defense equipment to ensure readiness.
