● Proposal and Bidding• Perform initial site visits and preliminary route surveys in order to understand project parameters and client needs• Prepare transportation plans, using land, rail or barge for heavy industrial loads (turbines, transformers, boilers, mining and oil refining equipment) being moved from origin to destination• Prepare technical drawings and procedure for Alternative Load Handling Equipment (ALHE) such as skidding systems and cranes• Estimate project costs, budget and profit margins● Planning and Operations• Determine project duration and project critical path• Provide detailed structural calculations and drawings for the proposed solutions (verify validity and make recommendations)• Design and fabricate custom steel structures required for the solution• Evaluate ground conditions and propose the necessary improvements for adequate conditions for the imposed loads• Supervise and manage on site operations, personnel and subcontractors● Business Development• Build department capacity through effective recruiting and development• Develop regional strategies to attract opportunities and broaden services• Attract, establish and maintain strong relationships with clients/partners
