• Structured and oversaw the field programs for all 95 state house candidates, who knocked on a combined 355,538 doors• Managed 8 Regional Campaign Directors, who, in turn, managed the campaigns for between 2-4 candidates each

• Managed Representative Margaret Good's legislative office, helped to forward her legislative priorities, responded to constituent concerns, tracked correspondence, and handled all press relations

• Flipped a longtime republican district in a 23-point swing, winning by 7 points – a district Obama lost in 2008• Raised $727k from 4842 individual contributions, the second highest amount raised in a special election for a state legislative seat since Donald Trump was elected• Oversaw a six-person field program that knocked on 41,568 doors and made 127,658 phone calls, driving up turnout to 36% of eligible voters, the highest for a special election in Florida history• Earned endorsements from Vice President Joe Biden, Emily’s List, Planned Parenthood, Sister District, Flippable, Florida Conservation Voters, Sierra Club, and several other progressive organizations• Ran a strong out of district outreach program that brought in hundreds of volunteers from across the state and country to make phone calls, text voters, and knock on doors

• Earned endorsements from the New York Daily News, The Working Families Party, and Planned Parenthood, becoming one of the most watched races in the city• Managed all aspects of the campaign including communications, operations, field, digital, finance, compliance, and hiring• Built an integrated 42-person paid canvassing program from scratch that knocked on 71,642 doors

• Managed a team of 4 field organizers in challenging rural turf that spanned across 5 congressional districts that led the state in most doors knocked with 97,013 total attempts and 53,298 attempts in the last 5 days of the campaign• Recruited 1,892 Get-Out-The-Vote canvass and phonebank shifts, which was more than any other region in the state

• Trained and managed a team of 7 first-time field organizers, who completed 1,974 Get-Out-the-Vote volunteer canvass shifts, giving my region the highest number of completed shifts per organizer in the state • Contributed to Senator-elect Maggie Hassan’s razor-thin 743 vote win margin by helping to deliver 36,013 votes in my region, only 13 votes shy of Obama’s ’12 vote totals in a year of depressed democratic turnout • Successfully managed multiple high-stakes political relationships across Strafford County and built a robust volunteer infrastructure that is positioned to tackle local issues affecting the community post-election

• Traveled across the country working in a variety of roles to help support the production of 20,000+ person rallies, where I served as a press lead, hotel logistics manager, motorcade driver, crowd coordinator, and site assistant

• Over the course of a month, my team of 5 Field Organizers, only 2 of which had organized before, recruited 11,419 volunteer shifts and knocked on 69,052 doors• Three of the four offices I was responsible for were ranked in the top 5 highest performing offices in the state in terms of volunteer canvass shift recruitment

• Helped manage and train the state’s 37 Field Organizers, half of which had never organized before, who recruited 9,762 Get-Out-the-Vote canvass shifts• Oversaw a double in statewide volunteer recruitment only three days after my arrival in the state by coaching organizers on recruitment strategies, leading the morning call, and setting daily priorities and accountability structures for the state’s organizers

• Had the highest percent to goal for GOTV canvass shift recruitment in the state, reaching 164% of my goal by election day• Had the highest regional vote percentage totals in the state with every town in my turf voting over 70% for Bernie, except for one that voted 64%. In two of the towns, 80% of voters cast their ballot for the Senator

•Translated a wide variety of publications written by the Executive Director from Spanish into English on topics of state reform, human rights, decentralization of governance, and political representation within different electoral systems.

• Taught English to classrooms of 10 – 25 students from different skill levels and age groups• Assisted in the daily operations of the foundation’s social services and career training programs that serve a community of people displaced by the country’s ongoing 50 yearlong armed conflict

• Covered the General Assembly and state government as an accredited member of the Capitol press corps• Wrote breaking news and features under tight deadlines on subjects ranging from corruption and government surveillance to the environment and sexual assault• Interviewed politicians and other government officials, as well as lobbyists, activists and concerned citizens, always seeking to put a human face on public policy • Had stories published by dozens of newspapers and news websites across Virginia, including: RVA Magazine, The Centreville Independent, Emporia News, The Fairfax Free Citizen, Ashburn Rising, Southwest Times, and others
