Design and implement training exercises / scenarios using state of the art computer simulations systems under the Joint Land Component Training Capability - Entity Resolution Federation (JLCCTC-ERF) suite. Stimulate training participants via operational training events, including battlefield situational management, logistics management, and direct / indirect fire support systems. Conduct hands on training to military personnel who require user knowledge of federated simulations systems in support of unit training requirements. Establish dynamic battle simulation scenarios to all DoD trainees utilizing Joint Conflict & Tactical Simulation (JCATS) constructive training application suite and an automated After Action Review System (AARS). Additionally, provide expertise on unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) simulator in direct support of Intelligence, Surveillance,and Reconnaissance (ISR) missions conducted within the simulation scenarios / exercises. Developed synthetic training environments using Multiple Unified Simulation Environment (MUSE) and Virtual Reality Scene Generator (VRSG).

Supported Digital Multipurpose Range Complex for Abrams tank and Bradley fighting vehicle gunnery trainings. Installed cameras and audio equipment for field gunnery exercises. Tested, monitored and evaluated equipment. Maintained site vehicle fleet and facility. Reviewed exercise scenarios and after-action reports. Performed reactive / preventative maintenance actions on Stationary Infantry, Mobile Infantry, Stationary Armored and Mobile Armored Targeting Systems. Key Highlights: Improved customer training through advancing development of target acquisition and engagement. Performed required maintenance/adjustments (i.e., organizational field maintenance), troubleshooting generators for serviceability, manually checked operation of sensors associated with various electromechanical target devices such as target holding mechanisms, tank gunnery and hostile fire simulator. Performed duties based upon manufacturer's diagrams and specifications, schematics and wiring diagrams.

Supervised five mechanics and four utility attendants maintaining a 100+ Crown forklifts, an extensive motorized conveyor system, and a variety of other maintenance activities instrumental to maintaining a 1.2 million square foot facility in peak performance. Negotiated three capital expenditure projects through planning, budgeting, and execution—valued over $200.000; all three completed ahead of schedule. Developed detailed battery maintenance plan for a battery fleet of 203 industrial batteries; team members increased service knowledge, battery availability and life increased by 25%, reduced contract services by 30%. Systematically structured cost center supply store room—reduced supply levels to meet maintenance requirements while increasing storage space by 300 square feet; parts retrieval labor reduced significantly. Coordinated a just in time resupply agreement with partner vendor for low-failure motors and gearboxes used on the conveyor system; operating costs decreased $36K.

Leader and manager for 174 personnel conducting satellite operations for the $2.4 billion Global Positioning System constellation. Expert facility manager overseeing $1.5M contract—facility consistently exceeded Facility Excellence standards. Managed personnel responsible for maintaining a $300 million Ground Control Segment of the Global Positioning System. Administered and edited for content and quality, all enlisted performance appraisals, awards and decorations packages, and a variety of other administrative documents. Initiated a cross-feed inspection process to develop “best practices” capability across work-centers resulting in a more efficient organization. Managed Status of Resources and Training (SORTS) program, Unit Deployment Center commitments under the Aerospace Expeditionary Force (AEF), Air and Space Expeditionary Task Force (ASETF), various Self-Inspection Program, and Anti-Terrorism and Force Protection Program.

Led five operations crews consisting of over 60 enlisted and officer space operators. Provided 24/7 operations of the $2.4B Global Positioning System (GPS), the DOD's largest military satellite constellation, coupled with the $300 million ground control segment of the GPS. Managed personnel staffing, training requirements, and the organization financial budgets. Expert facility manager for $1.5 million contract; oversaw a $250K operations room refurbishment project and completed it two weeks ahead of schedule; facility consistently rated “Excellent” during my 5 year tenure.

Satellite Systems Operator—performed satellite sorties, satellite state of health contacts, resolved anomalous and emergency conditions, and performed a variety of other scheduled and unscheduled space satellite operations. Oversaw crew operations involved in Global Positioning Satellite stability and availability to end users. Directed crew response activities during exercise scenarios, major command inspections/evaluations, and real-world threat assessments.

Managed all maintenance activities of five independent shops, consisting of 560+ personnel in nine separate occupations to support 40 B-1 aircraft and 39 C-130 aircraft supporting an extensive flying schedule. Responsible for $80 million equipment account. Managed work schedules, coupled with equipment availability supporting a variety of aircraft maintenance activities. Performed detailed quality assurance inspections on maintenance facilities general housekeeping, hazardous waste storage facilities, and condition of shop equipment / tools / specialized test equipment. Established a mission critical equipment listing that supported the assigned aircraft; resulted in reduction of 12 equipment items valued at $87K. Led a team effort to locally repair six critically damaged lower rudder assemblies saving $250K in shipping and contractor costs and negating 60 days of depot level repair time. Procured two multi-media systems to support computer based training saving $15K in training
