I joined the U.S. Navy in 2012 and I have now served over 7 years as an IT in the U.S. Navy. I told myself the only job I would accept when joining was to be an IT because my passion for information technilogy started very young. Throughout my Navy career I have had the opportunity to travel the world and see some amazing places, got to work along side very intelligent people who are now close friends, and accomplish some extremely hard but very rewarding tasks. I was assigned to USS Nimitz aircraft carrier in October 2012 where I was responsible for system/network administration, satellite operations, WAN, and the maintenance/configuration of RF communication equipment. In June 2016, my next assignment was to the Office of Naval intelligence where I would spend the next 3 years as Windows System Administrator. Both of these assignments have given me great opportunities to progress my knowledge and experience in information technology.
