Design and integrate new global network architecture to overhaul existing legacy network.Design global BGP announcement scope for global/regional anycast service reachability.Maintain standards & documentation for fleetwide automation and orchestration of network devices.In-depth traffic analysis for routing optimizations across multiple providers/IXs.Project planning and execution for infrastructure deployments, retrofits, etc.Act as escalation point for operational and software teams relating to network & service issues.

Involved in global network architecture design overhaul and testing during shift from distributed PoPs to larger-scale datacenters.Involved in design and deployment of network hardware solutions -- Cisco ASR/NCS, Ciena Waveserver/Ai/ROADM, etc.Plan and execute complex multi-team initiatives - global infrastructure upgrade/standardization, reconfigure regional infrastructure and network announcements due to global events, etc.Develop tooling to monitor network services and performance issues specific to the Twitch platform.Act as escalation point for various infrastructure and operations groups.Review and approve cross-organization projects as a stakeholder on behalf of the Global Network Services organization.Provide training and document standards when collaborating with various teams - Video, Datacenter, Network, etc.Work with network vendors to validate new platforms deployed at Twitch, and isolate operational issues.Work collaboratively with 3rd party networks to identify and resolve network performance issues.

Initial engineer spinning up new network provisioning team.Manage, order, and coordinate network capacity augments with various providers on a global scale.Plan and execute physical connectivity migrations during high-impact PoP augments or migrations.Coordinate project/delivery timelines with network & datacenter teams to ensure global PoP deployment success.Respond and troubleshoot production traffic/connectivity issues.Act as escalation point for DC engineers; and contribute to onsite work for large or complex deployments.

Initial engineer spinning up new DC team.Manage global PoP deployments - from planning through onsite deployment & documentation.Manage global datacenter smart-hands requests for both networking and systems operations teams.Global datacenter audits - hardware, power, inventory, etc.Manage and track vendor lab hardware to enable functionality testing for software & systems teams.

Responsible for corporate network/systems architecture, administration, and security. Includes 24/7 on-call availability. Also responsible for support of all services used at Lithium Technologies (Atlassian Suite, Salesforce, etc), as well as providing troubleshooting support for the help desk team.
