I’m an art director and designer with over 20 years of experience reviving brands from the inside out and the outside in. I partner with agencies and organization directors to help actualize and manage creative solutions for large, complex projects. Regardless of whether I’m in-house, consulting, designing or managing designers, I will meet you where you are and with what you have, and help you expand your creative capabilities and output.Early in my career, I worked at a design firm that specialized in crafting communication platforms for the CEOs of corporations that were going through monumental change. While there, I had the opportunity to work on large accounts such as Coca-Cola, FedEx, Accenture, HP, Dow Jones, NASDAQ, TIAA, and several smaller b2b and service-based brands. It’s here that I learned to connect the dots between business objectives, strategy, visual design and creative storytelling. These days, I primarily work for start-ups, academic institutions and cultural organizations that are looking to distinguish themselves and better align their offerings with their target audience. For me, success isn’t just defined by the end product but also by the experience of getting there. I love collaborating with clients, teams and business owners; anyone who has worked with me will tell you that I genuinely get excited about and champion others’ ideas as much, if not more than, my own. I enjoy solving problems through design and creative direction, but it doesn’t stop at the end of my workday, nor is it limited to a flat page or screen. I keep a sketchbook and an iPad Pro with me at all times, filling the pages not only with logos, layouts and concepts for photoshoots but also with designs for furniture, products, architecture and landscapes. Design is a habit, and I enjoy thinking through the production and fabrication of an idea just as much as conceiving of the idea itself. As a multi-disciplined creative with more than two decades of experience and a penchant for 360-degree design thinking, there aren’t many environments or scales I haven’t designed for. And regardless of my role with an organization or the business challenges ahead, my goal is always to produce delightful, practical and enduring creative solutions.
