At Simtra BioPharma Solutions my core responsibilities include leading expansion programs to support our strategic growth at our Bloomington, Indiana manufacturing facility. Previously my role at Simtra included leading formulation and process development projects. Simtra's development group in Bloomington is recognized as a world leader in lyophilization, formulation, and process development for parenteral products. In graduate school my research leveraged a technique called Charge Detection Mass Spectrometry (CDMS). This technique was developed over the past decade in Professor Martin Jarrold’s research group at Indiana University and utilized a home-built instrument. My graduate school experiences helped spark my interest in biologic based therapeutics and led into sterile manufacturing. When I’m not at work you might find me walking my dogs, reading, binge watching anything Star Wars, or out playing golf.
