Development of ATRF’s investment and funding policies, managing the relationship between ATRF& AIMCo, communicating investment matters to the ATRF Board, and developing and maintainingrelations with other Alberta Public sector pension plans.

• Researched, interviewed, conducted diligence, and evaluated managers for the Private Equity Program.• Oversaw the Alberta Teachers’ Retirement Fund (ATRF) segregated account (see experience below) which included multiple global manager relationships and portfolios in terms of performance, risk exposure, investment activity, investment process and personnel, portfolio characteristics, compliance, and documentation. Worked through the government mandated transition of the ATRF assets into AIMCo.

• Responsible for the funds portion of the global ATRF Private Equity Program - primary and secondary.• Monitored multiple current manager relationships and portfolios (including Advisory Board participation) in terms of performance, risk exposure, investment activity, investment process and personnel, portfolio characteristics, compliance, and documentation.• Researched, interviewed, conducted diligence, evaluated, and negotiated Private Equity funds.• Assisted with co-investment and Infrastructure opportunities.• Co-headed a team of seven individuals.
