Kevin McGarry is a much sought-after freelance Professional Photographer based in Scotland who draws upon 38 years of expertise with each new endeavour he undertakes. Kevin translates ideas into stunning, marketable photography for all types of businesses.Self-assigned exploration informs his creative projects which has seen him cover Royalty; major sporting events including the London Olympics, Glasgow 2014, and the Gold Coast 2018 open- ing ceremonies; athletes such as Sir Mo Farah, Usain Bolt and Sir Chris Hoy; corporate work; and – of course – GigaPan panoramics.It is while working on these assignments and while photographing the Scottish Highlands, that Kevin developed his use of GigaPan imagery.During Glasgow 2014, he captured 70,000 athletes, spectators, and VIP’s and made over 278 images into one interactive panoramic. At the Gold Coast Games there were 80,000 people in the stadium with an online and TV potential of 1.4 billion people. Kevin made several GigaPans at the Opening Ceremony and Closing Event. He also produced a GigaPan of the Rugby Sevens and of the Game Shapers Party.
