Copyediting and proofreading nonfiction books, Bibles, and Bible reference materials. Coordinating workflow surrounding these projects, hiring and communicating with freelance copyeditors as necessary.- In 2012, I worked closely with senior editors to develop a process for ensuring the quality of Tyndale's digital publications. I led training sessions for freelancers and fellow staff, training them to proofread e-Bibles and conduct testing on all major e-readers.

Coordinated all workflow for the 46th annual Chicago International Film Festival's promotional publications. Selected and led a team of freelance writers, including offsite volunteers and an in-office intern.- Wrote and/or edited all copy appearing in the festival's sneak preview brochure, film schedule, and program book.- Collaborated with publicity departments at such major film studios as Sony Pictures Classics to ensure effective promotion of festival selections.

Facilitated editorial workflow for 2011 edition of reading textbooks. Proofread lesson openers and state education standards for 2011 edition of math textbooks. Edited and wrote materials for elementary mathematics testing. Archived publisher’s stock of previously published materials, entering them into a database and then either shelving them or shipping them to a warehouse as appropriate.

Edited monthly newsletters to donors. Responsible for maintaining donor database and refining the organization’s website. Worked closely with management to coordinate fundraising events.

Provided initial inspection of home loans received at office. Processed new loans in office computer system before passing them on to underwriting for review. Operated office switchboard, answering and transferring all incoming calls for the branch.

Copyedited technical documents for various government scientific projects. Communicated extensively with authors to keep them apprised of document status.- Officially acknowledged for valuable contributions to U.S.-Russia collaboration on a nuclear-material storage facility.

Instructed clients in the basics of style, grammar, paper organization, and thesis building. Interacted with these clients on an individual, face-to-face basis when critiquing papers.
