A developer at heart, an infrastructure and systems architect by trade, an information security practitioner by choice, and an enthusiastic leader out of pure enjoyment. Throughout my career I've had the passion, dedication, and good fortune to have been exposed to multiple areas of information technology, across varying industries, providing value in several capacities.I've always enjoyed walking the line where technical achievement collides with personal growth. More rewarding is helping someone else, or an entire team, walk that same line. Something as simple as helping someone write their first few lines of code and watching it run in production, to more complicated endeavors such as overhauling a security program, replacing storage platforms, or complex cloud migrations. My passion lies in striking the ever-changing balance between business values, technical requirements, and employee/individual engagement.When I'm not trying to change the world one byte at a time, I'll often be found playing sports, trying to stay in shape, or spending time with friends and family...and of course the occasional video game. I enjoy any conversation that has to do with technology, leadership, or the complex dynamics of organizations and the people within them.
