The South Carolina Governor's School for the Arts and Humanities is a public residential high school for emerging artists. The school gives artistically talented high school students from across the state the opportunity to study their art in a supportive environment of artistic and academic excellence. Arts concentrations include Creative Writing, Dance, Drama, Music and Visual Arts.

Owner, founder and operator of a high-end portrait photography studio specializing in children and family portraiture. Clients include retail and institutional use photography customers, magazine publications, advertisers and business owners. Work products include: digital productions, canvas prints, roadside billboards, coffee table books and traditional photographic prints all with a distinctive artistic style. Business focuses on customer service component of the portrait experience. Photographic goal is to capture the spirit of the subject in a way that tells the story of the person(s) being photographed. Photojournalistic works and portraiture has been featured in Asian and European magazines. Work is displayed in homes and galleries and enjoyed by families around the world. Teaches seminars and provides individual instruction in all components of digital photography. Prior to the opening of his current studio in Avon, CT, his studio was located in Tokyo, Japan.

Led revitalization of the organization through a planful restructuring and with renewed focus on its mission. Energized workforce and volunteers. Increased membership by 40% over the prior year. Dramatically increased revenue through grants and new membership opportunities. Directed the writing and implementing of a strategic plan and also the rewriting of the corporate bylaws. Oversaw implementation of a variety of new programming initiatives, bringing together other community organizations, artists, funders, and residents.

Responsible for overall integrity of SportsCenter.com. Wrote stories, edited submitted stories, and created graphical images and layout material to enhance viewer experience.
