I am a 35-year-old professional with a diverse and enriching journey that has shaped both my career and personal growth. Originally from The Colony, TX, I embarked on an educational adventure that led me to The Winston School in Dallas, TX, for high school. Eager to broaden my horizons, I spent a transformative year studying abroad in Lippstadt, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. This experience ignited my passion for language education and a deeper understanding of European culture and lifestyle, prompting me to live in Radolfzell am Bodensee for two years following high school graduation.Upon my return to North Texas, I pursued higher education at Collin College in Frisco, TX, earning 48 credit hours. In 2012, fueled by a sense of duty, I joined the United States Navy and underwent boot camp in Great Lakes, IL. My first duty station assignment was on the USS BATAAN in Norfolk, VA, where I served for nearly three years. During this time, I was selected for a special program through the Legalman (LN) accession course. Facing personal challenges and the untimely passing of a loved one, I withdrew from the program.Transferring to the USS JOHN FINN in Pascagoula, MS, I became a proud plankowner and played a significant role in the ship's history as the test platform for shooting the first SM3-2A. In 2019, I concluded my sea tour and transitioned to Officer Training Command Newport in Newport, Rhode Island. Over the next three years, I served as a firefighting instructor, contributing to the training and development of Naval Officers. While at OTCN, I completed my Bachelor's in Supply Chain Management with a minor in Government Contracting and Acquisition at American Military University.In August 2023, after nearly 11 years of proud naval service, I separated from the Navy. This marked the beginning of a new chapter as I founded Desert Valley IT Technical Solutions, a company dedicated to engaging in various activities and providing a range of products or services to government agencies.In February 2024, I embarked on a new professional endeavor by joining Cinder LLC as a contingency worker through intel. In this role, I am actively engaged as a procurement specialist in the supply chain field, leveraging my expertise and experience to contribute to the company's operations. This exciting opportunity has led me to pause all business operations and government contracting endeavors with Desert Valley IT Technical Solutions, allowing me to fully dedicate myself to my current role and focus on advancing my career in procurement and supply chain management.
