I have worked in the restaurant industry for almost 20 years. My first 15 were managing a cafe in which we became the number one profit generating store in the company. In the last few years with the company, I spent time at many of the other Cafe's, helping to revitalize them and support them to success. In 2015 I moved from Portland, OR to Salem, OR where I began my food sales career. I was able to use my passion for food and the desire to see restaurants succeed as my basis for my work at Food Services of America. I started in a prospecting role and built my territory throughout Marion and Polk county. Prospecting for new business was essential for growth in the area I served while also maintaining my current customer base in a consultative manner. to our company as well as supported new restaurants in opening for the first time. In late 2019, US Foods acquired Food Services of America and they became my new employer. I was excited to move forward with a new company with a new mission. However, in April of 2020, due to COVID-19, the company downsized and I lost my job. I spent most of 2020 being available for my family whilst looking for the perfect position elsewhere. I am currently employed with Harbor Wholesale. I feel very fortunate to have landed a position as a Territory Sales Manager with a fantastic company who values their customers and employees. Life is good!
