About Kevin Rafter
My work focuses on the intersection of strategy, evaluation and impact - using insights from research and evaluation to strengthen program strategies and support internal program learning. With over 20 years of experience in the philanthropic and social sectors, I have a deep understanding of strategy and evaluation that can drive greater, more equitable impact for people and communities. I also enjoy creating and implementing operational processes that support learning and team culture in philanthropy and other settings. In my experience, implementing new processes requires engaging stakeholders in the design, seeking efficiency, and staying engaged to support the process of adoption. My consulting experience has provided opportunities to help leaders in a variety of organizations adopt new tools and systems. I am a proud Bay Area native and San Francisco resident for the past 18 years. I'm up early most mornings to run in Golden Gate Park or swim with the University of San Francisco Masters Swim Team.
