When I first joined Chime, I led a cross-functional team to migrate the entirety of Chime's data, services, and infrastructure from a data center to AWS, with zero downtime for our users.As a founding member of Chime's Financial Platform organization, I helped define our guiding principles, priorities, and roadmaps, and hired over 30 engineers. After leading the initial development of our payment processing engine, I built out and led our infrastructure engineering team and System of Record & Banking Operations team. A payment processing platform has very low tolerances for errors and downtime, and to ensure trustworthiness, I have strongly evangelized and led efforts around availability, scalability, and functional correctness.
