Main tasks and responsibilities:- Securing new work prospects and sponsorship opportunities- Planning, Promotion and Management of variety of events yearly- Collaborate closely with student groups and various university departments - Securing new marketing and sponsorship agreements for various events - Team Management for online and physical promotion- Recommendation of a variety of companies and freelancers for design, media and bookings - Collaborate closely with senior management - Work closely with venue staff to ensure the good running of each event- Introduce and present new ideas and procedures for further company development

Planning, promotion, management and execution of various events, parties, exhibitions, trips and meetings on behalf of the student's union. My role was to liaise with the event manager to secure locations where events will be held, help in the booking of artists, performers, decorations of venues, contact promoters, DJs and hosts and schedule timing for agenda and programming. I also liaise with a team of graphic designers, photographers and videographers to create flyers and media content for all upcoming events and ensure the correct promotion of the event. My role also consisted of attending most events I planned to ensure they go smoothly and handle any problems that may arise.
