-The sole and primary tester responsible for testing LTE section of AT&T’s 10776 test plan as LTE network was first introduced to Dallas area.-Added USCC (CDMA) Verification and Validation (VnV) test plan to daily test responsibilities in an effort to improve overall testing quality.-6-months after adding USCC testing to responsibility, improvement was shown by elimination of all falsely reported test results and reduction of Not Tested test cases from approx. 50, down to 1 (equipment based) instance.-Interfaced with R&D development teams and U.S. support teams to evaluate firmware releases for quality, standards performance and functionality conformance for carriers including AT&T, USCC, C Spire and regional carriers.

-Performed sectional testing of AT&T’s 10776 Test Plan for Lab Entry certification of Samsung devices.-First tester in STA to perform complete testing of TracFone One Customer Test Plan (OCTP) for Samsung’s Pre-paid device lineup.-Created Regression Checklist test document comprised of carrier reported issues from post lab entry devices and performed verification testing to ensure past issues did not occur on future devices.-Led the effort to decrease TracFone carrier reported issues from +120 count, down to less than 5 through only a 4 device turn-around.

-Responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining processes in the manufacturing of parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies.-Interfaced with design engineering in coordinating proto-type builds until the design is qualified for full production release.-Coordinated assembly time studies to estimate manufacturing cost and determine time standards.-Made recommendations for tooling and process requirements for new and existing product lines.

Accessories include Bluetooth headsets, travel chargers, wired headsets and batteries.-Tested, verified and documented battery life results for Samsung handsets using carrier requirements.-Created and updated test plans per carrier requirements for handset accessories.-Upgraded handset software during each design phase up to Technical Acceptance (TA).-Scheduled external testing thru 3rd party tester, National Analysis Center (NAC) as required by carriers.-Created documentation used to gain Carrier approval of Samsung accessories.

-Responsible for overseeing Mechanical and Environmental testing of Nokia products for TDMA, GSM and CDMA design teams.-Produced test reports that highlight strengths and weaknesses of the mobile phone design. -Carried out operational validation of Reliability Test equipment such as the Salt Mist chamber.-Programed robotics to perform cyclical and redundant testing to improve technician efficiency.-Designed and implemented the use of a powerless rack for testing Nokia products in the Temperature/Humidity chambers.

-Responsible for solving customer’s design issues via personal visits, conference calls or email.-Evaluated device concerns by testing products in lab with oscilloscope, FireBerd T1/E1 tester, Bit Error Rate Tester and a Line Attenuation simulator.-Recommended design enhancements to the design team for design tools used by external customers. -Published Application Notes pertaining to the functionality of Dallas Semiconductor products.-Presented a monthly Telecom Training Presentation for Field Application Engineers, Distributors, Marketing and Sales force on current and future Dallas Semiconductor devices.
