The Oak Hill Collaborative, Inc. is a 501-C3 non-profit organization on the South Side of Youngstown. Their primary objective is community revitalization through small business development and neighborhood beautification with the goal of improving the quality of life along the Oak Hill corridor and the creation and utilization of a makerspace.Presently contributing to robotics projects within the Oak Hill Robotics Makerspace including development of vision systems. Have assisted with initiatives focused on bridging the digital divide in Youngstown Ohio neighborhoods. Efforts include initiative vision development, engagement with organizations focused on addressing digital divide challenges, supporting free, local hour of code sessions offered to the community, and providing collaborative support in the MakerSpace.

Information Technology consultant for Boston-Power (http://www.boston-power.com), an emerging leader in lithium-ion batteries. July 2012 to September 2014 - Designed and implemented a custom corporate intranet sites using Microsoft SharePoint Online. Sites include a Manufacturing Quality Reporting site and a leave request workflow application. Served in various capacities as Lead Architect and Development Manager in numerous technology projects including rollouts of highly performance, fault tolerant software and hardware infrastructures; development of custom web applications; and enterprise system integrations. This Portal was used to provide a single point of access to deliver aggregated, role-based information from diverse enterprise application, data, and reporting sources over the web to over 160,000 users, including corporate employees, field managers, store employees, and external CVS vendors and partners. Over 6200 CVS/Pharmacy stores were supported. Development services included requirements, design, implementation, test, and production support for development of custom Portal applications and system integrations supporting departments across the enterprise, including HR, Finance, Marketing, Store Operations, Field Management, Direct Store Delivery, Logistics, and IT• Lead Architect in the specification, design, and deployment of a phased rollout of the Portal hardware and software infrastructure required to support business and technology roadmaps. Collaborated in the management, design, testing, and rollout of the supporting hardware, network, security, data, and software infrastructure changes. Provided recommendations to improve to the overall system architecture, component object models, and software development procedures. Key contributor in the development of corporate C++ coding standards. Project lead for the OLTP and Batch systems Y2K readiness assessments.

Converted business from a single user accounting software package running on an stand-alone, archaic DECMate CP/M personal computers to a 13 user, networked MS Windows based PCs running MAS 90 accounting software to support accounting, point-of-sale, and inventory business processes for multiple companies. Responsible for the design; project planning; procurement; software assessment; deployment of hardware, software, and network equipment; accounting system data conversion; and end-user training.
