I have spent the 15+ years of my career building connected hardware, 10 of those years in leadership capacities where I've built and lead Hardware, Data Science, Software, Program Management, QA and Operations teams from the ground up.My passion is in building/shipping hardware and in the team - building a great product is amazing and fostering an effective team is incredible. My technical strengths lie in connected hardware systems - particularly in embedded software, connectivity (LTE/WiFi/GPS/Bluetooth) and data analytics.A brief hit list of my experience;- Skydio (autonomous drones) - led cross-functional SW effort (~30 ppl) to offer world leading fully autonomous drones for commercial use.- Samsara (connected vehicle) - led embedded teams (fw/qa/data/program) (~ 30 ppl) across cameras, gateways and asset trackers. Scaled from 100k connected to 1.5M connected devices in 2 years.- Whistle Labs (wearable IoT) - Co-Founder & CTO - oversaw all eng/ops/data, hands on in hardware and data (80k units per year).
