Responsible for all treasury systems supporting debt, derivatives, foreign exchange, commercial paper, and investments.• Successfully setup new disaster recovery site for four mission critical (Sox Level 1) trading systems and four supporting systems. This accomplishment included coordination across multiple groups, building and creating plans from scratch with limited prior knowledge. • Spearheaded short term funding reengineering analysis to produce a formal request for proposal. This included current process maps, detailed strategic gaps, and internal vetting with short term funding management team. • Resolved Bloomberg trading commercial paper outstanding forecast issue by identifying root cause, managing vendor to provide production code changes, fully testing changes. • Restructured isolated IT team to increase project execution and support. Redefined team member roles to deliver quality deliverables and partnered with the business to prioritize and execute high priority projects on time and within budget. • Implemented an electronic trade confirmation service for commodity trades using ICE eConfirm. This allowed for centralization of receiving, compiling and matching trade data submitted by participants and counterparties to a trade. This new process eliminates manual processing and significantly increases accuracy and efficiency of confirmation. • Managed the delivery of an automated FAS133 effectiveness testing system to eliminate 22 manual spreadsheets and over 1,000 hours per year. This project provided better controllership and early detection of issues. • Proposed and designed multiple automated enhancements to a trade request system to eliminate half a person per year in manual error prone system updates. This eliminated risky manual backend database updates and increased productivity of the front office traders.
