Managed partnerships and alliances within FIS' Next Generation Banking group and the Systematics applications. My responsibilities included working with partners, both external as well as internal to FIS. In several cases I was working directly with CEOs and other high-level executives. This included onboarding of potential vendors/partners, managing partner relationships, negotiating agreements, and registering and tracking joint opportunities. In addition to working with partners, I also interfaced with our technical sales support, account management teams, product management, solution architects, FIS Enterprise Supply Management, Vendor Risk Management, FIS Legal, business development, and other FIS managers. This includes working with these groups to determine other partnership needs, managing RFIs, handling renewals, resolving client support issues, renewing contracts, and submitting orders for clients.

Support FIS Premium Hosted Services in areas of architecture, performance analysis, vendors, etc. Evaluate new technologies that apply to the FIS Systematics solutions. Specifically looking at those that enhance the Systematics solutions. Work with vendors on contracts and consulting engagements. Support FIS Sales in prospect/client engagements. Support Systematics' development teams as needed. Also provide technical consulting on related technologies to FIS Product Management. My key strength is making problems go away.

I am currently part of Systematics Core Product team and FIS Retail Banking Division. I participate in architecture oversight and governance for Systematics products. My initial focus was data management, but I am involved in CICS-related projects including support of Web services (SOAP and REST) due to my systems background in CICS. I also occasionally work with clients, reviewing SMF and Compuware Strobe reports to analyze CICS performance problems.I manage the FIS' SAP Business Objects OEM relationship for the Xamine, Default Manager, and Systematics products. This includes working with SAP on new agreements, assisting sales and our account groups in configuring products for clients, and producing quotes for use in contract negotiations.I have oversight responsibilities for IBM Partnerworld, including acting as a contact for international developer access. I also oversee the IBM zSeries mainframe development program for FIS Little Rock. The latter includes annual recertification and working with the appropriate teams to periodically upgrade the development hardware platform, most recently to the z13 architecture. I also meet periodically with IBM to discuss technologies and to get more information regarding technologies affecting current projects.More recently I have been researching z/OS cloud, mainframe testing methodologies, Enterprise COBOL 5/6 migration, HA implementations using GDPS Active/Active, and mainframe API management (z/OS Connect and z/OS Connect EE). I publish documents and meet with various groups to discuss findings. Often the groups are internal to FIS, but I have also worked with a number of clients to understand their requirements relative to various technologies. I often leverage vendor experts in these discussions.

Relied on my knowledge of the mainframe operating environment to define and recommend possible solutions and projects. My primary focus was IBM's CICS/TS and working with the FIS Systematics products. This expanded to include SOA, integration solutions, business intelligence, and eventually strategic recommendations for Fidelity's Xpress and Xamine products.

Worked with the GN architecture development group (part of the Systematics applications) to define product direction. Defined annual project portfolios. Provided architectural consulting for clients and data centers. Analyzed current trends in order to define future development direction. Continued to work with IBM CICS and the ISV organization.

Continued working with the Chief Technology Office after acquisition of AIS by FNF.

Business Integration Framework organization. Assisted in the design of the BIF S/390 Enterprise Integration Bridge. Managed a group of programmer analysts. Maintained the IBM CICS ISV relationship. Provided overview presentations to the various organizations within Alltel. Consulted with customers.

Worked for the Strategic Technology Office. Participated in the evaluation of IBM Information Frameworks. Provided security analysis for one of AIS' major European customers. Participated in application modernization discussions. Participated in IBM CICS and MQSeries ISV conferences. Provided analysis for Alltel's decision to acquire Advanced Information Resources.

Technology Architecture and Development Group. Worked with IBM on CICS and MQSeries projects. Provided recommendations for CICS implementation within Alltel. Provided sales support and on-site consulting.

Managed CICS system programmers and DB2 DBAs at the Little Rock Technology Center. With the merger of the Little Rock and Jacksonville Technology Center management staffs, managed all CICS system programmers. Included 16 SPs in five different cities at one time. Responsible for reviews, salaries, assignments, hiring, and customer satisfaction. Implemented telecommuting policies for remote programmers. Developed tiered support structure. Recommended the creation of the Application Enablement group.

Continued as systems programmer, MVS and CICS. Participated in early test programs for IBM's CICS and MQSeries products, including corporate participation in the original MQSeries beta program. Participated in off-site benchmarks to prove software performance. Provided technical sales support both domestic and overseas. Developed ROT for TS (GN) deployments and VSAM management in CICS environments. Established standard methodology for cloning CICS regions.

Systems programmer with the Systems Programming Group in Little Rock, AR. Supported VSE, MVS, and especially CICS in the company's data centers, providing debug support, tuning analysis, corrections, and configuration. Defined procedures for implementing the Systematics applications using MRO and ISC. Provided on-site systems support for first implementation of TS (later GN). Reviewed and installed new releases of CICS and documented their impact on the Systematics applications.

Set up support for the CICS-based FIAS product. Taught CIF classes. Miscellaneous development and support projects. Project lead for two projects for the FIAS Teller Terminal application.

Systematics' Casper, Wyoming, data center. E01 trainee program. Supported Syscon Mortgage Loans package as well as Systematics IMPACS and IAS applications. Also took on operating system management responsibilities for DOS/VSE, which included hardware upgrades. Worked with bank officers to resolve problems and define project scopes.
