Kevin Draper is the Founder and Executive Director of the Satellite Collective, a New York City-based non-profit organization that serves as an international arts accelerator for artists to create and perform forward-thinking work.The Satellite Collective fosters novel accessible and diverse art forms through global collaborations between composers, choreographers, musicians, visual artists, designers, poets and writers. Satellite's performances and works have been featured in the New York Times, The New Yorker, NPR, among other top-tier international publications. Artistically, trained as an architect, Kevin develops projections and visual works with choreographers and composers. He has developed his technique to incorporate intense visual compositions with studied movement, arriving at large scale projections which can be seen as virtual architecture. Committed to the return of the libretto form, Kevin's writing has been used for short film, dance, multimedia and song cycle forms. Additionally, Kevin is a Director with SAP AG, advising on capital program planning and management. His clients include major corporations in financial services, retail and manufacturing, including Morgan Stanley, IBM, Nike, and Wal-Mart. Kevin holds degrees in architecture and engineering from the University of Michigan, an M.Arch. from Tulane University, and an MBA from Notre Dame University. Kevin serves as a member of the Tulane School of Architecture Board, and acts as President of T. T. Handicraft Development Company, a Tibetan artisan venture located in Shangrila, Tibet (China) initiated by the Tibet Poverty Alleviation Fund, a 501(c)3 based out of Cambridge, Massachusetts.
