During my graduation internship I worked on the synthesis and process optimization of Cabergoline, an ergot alkaloid derivative for the treatment of Parkinson's disease and hyperlactation. Hereby I synthesized Cabergoline via an 8-step synthesis route with optimization observed in 3 of the 8 steps. The thesis was assessed, after which I graduated with a 9/10.

Currently I am working on my research minor to test my competence in the laboratories. Where after I can start my graduation project to finish my education to become an organic chemist. As a hearse driver I was responsible for transferring the deceased in a right way. Also I was responsible for embalming the deceased.

At this Internship I worked as a laboratory technician in the synthesis lab from CHILL. Where I had to complete the method development and validation of my project. Therafter I started my aptitude test to finish my education as a chemical-fysical analist.

At this internship I got in touch with the organic chemistry. I worked on different projects for my supervisors and colleagues. Especially on synthesis, Chromatography (TLC, GC, HPLC), spectrometry (MS, IR), extractions, scaling up and literature review.
