I’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with numerous producers, creative directors, designers, editors, design technologists, and print designers over the years which has helped me accumulate my eclectic set of skills today. These learnings not only shaped my technical skills but also motivated me to dive deeper into understanding the process to sculpt my workflow into always thinking backwards from the customer. We believe in failing early and iterating until we get it right.” - Jeff Bezos.I started my journey at the University of Oklahoma where I learned the foundation of design with theory, typography and print. It wasn't until my senior year at Oklahoma that I discovered the world of bringing a piece of creative to life through engaging storytelling that could enhance a users experience. Once I did, I didn't look back. I then took the twenty-hour drive west to Los Angeles where I would embark on learning the ends and outs of the entertainment and advertising industry. Throughout this journey, I've learned the value of hard work, curiosity, and problem-solving from impossible timelines, complicated clients and never been done before ideas. It helps that I have a very active mind and I get inspired by almost everything around me at any moment. Whether that's architecture, landscapes, music, movies, social media threads or random walks around town. After almost 9 years out in LA and surviving the pandemic, so far, I’ve decided to move back to Texas. This was a hard decision but where I’m at in my life, I’d like to take the experience I’ve gained out on the west coast and bring it back closer to family. The pandemic has taught us all a lot, most importantly that we can work remotely and still be effective, if not more, bringing communication and collaboration to an all-new level. Even though I’m geographically located in Texas, I’m still open to joining a team remotely.I wear my cowboy boots every Friday during football season, in the office, or virtually.
