Mr. So has broad international experiences in the investment, management, and development of retail, residential and mixed use development. His role in Parkland Investment, a private investment firm based in Hong Kong, is to invest and asset manage real estate investments in major gateway cities such as New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco and London. Prior to Parkland, Mr. So served as Vice President and Managing Director of Toll Brothers, responsible for the group’s expansion in China. Previously, he was Senior Director with Simon Property Group, responsible for the development and business expansion of its Premium Outlets subsidiary in Asia. Prior to returning to Asia, Mr. So spent many years in the US and held senior positions with Toll Brothers, as well as renowned architectural firm RTKL. His project experience involves residential, commercial, office, and hospitality projects, and spans the globe from the United States to the Asia (including China, Japan, Singapore, Korea, Malaysia, Indi and Vietnam), covering investment and acquisition, joint venture structuring, as well as development planning and management.Mr. So holds a B.Arch degree from Tsinghua University in Beijing, and an MBA from Cornell University's Johnson Graduate School of Business. He is a licenced architect in the US, a director of Tsinghua Real Estate Council, and a member of the Urban Land Institute.
