Post career Information Technology Manager presently working in Production Lighting for a major Southern California theme park until formal retirement, and living my best life going to an amusement park every day. If you've been to Knott's Berry Farm during the holiday seasons at night you've seen my work. If you go to Knott's Scary Farm (aka Knott's Halloween Haunt) you've seen my fog.After leaving a professional career of over four decades I'm using this time to take care of my mother who is approaching the final stages of Alzheimer's, which was first diagnosed in 2019, and planning for the next phase of my life. I continue to serve on several boards aligned with labor, immigrant rights, and social justice so I'm sure my work will center around those.I'm strongly aligned with labor and have years of community activism and policy advocacy experience from national campaigns. I've witnessed first hand how people utilizing political power have done the impossible. Whether it’s successfully achieving projects or mobilizing communities the motivation is the same; accomplishment. We did it. I’ve learned that I am someone who measures my own success in the achievement of others. Helping marginalized communities win is my passion. And I intend to pursue my passion in the near future.For the moment, I'll see you in the fog.
