So in 2013, I had a unique experience. I applied and was offered a computer programming internship at Walt Disney World. One exciting part about the whole experience were the various locations we held our standups or team meetings. On one occasion in particular, we had our standup while walking around the World Showcase in EPCOT. Another team meeting (which included hundreds of people), was in a building located inside EPCOT with a fancy stage, but it was Star Wars themed and included stormtroopers. That was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that will-never-be-forgotten. Some more about me, I am a father with two college-aged daughters and a son still in the home for a while. Another exciting thing about me is that I didn't even own a pc until after my second daughter was born in 2001. I also enjoy collecting baseball cards, the older, the better.I enjoy learning new things. I enjoy tinkering to learn new skills, I find that works best for me.

The project was built using Azure Devops.- Worked on a product that streamed video workout classes online for themself, scheduled when the video starts, allows the person who scheduled the class to invite others to that class, or let a facility manager do all the above and opens the class for others to join. There is a member facing site (old site written in AngularJS and CSS, new site written in Angular 11 Tailwind CSS, SCSS) and a separate administration site to control all aspects of the website.- Started with AngularJS doing new development and performed break-fixes. - Helped code the website redesign to Angular 11. An offshore team wrote the majority of UI components then I would wire those components to the back-end using Angular, C#, Tailwind CSS, some plain CSS as needed and possibly SQL from time-to-time, even though there was a DBA.- Wrote some net new projects in a microservices architecture using C# .Net Core 3.1 using both Visual Studio 2019, 2021, and Visual Studio Code. -
Software EngineerHollander Nov 2014 - Dec 2020Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States- Technologies used were C#, Javascript ES2005, AngularJS, SQL 2008 R2 & 2012, T-SQL, SCSS, Bootstrap, UI-Bootstrap, CSS, lodash, Gulp. The project was built using Gulp, with CI/CD using Concourse and Pivotal Cloud Foundry. Also, the API communications are done using RabbitMQ.- Most recently worked on a website for auto recycling businesses to track inventoried parts. The website was built using AngularJS, SCSS, Lodash, UI-Bootstrap, UI-Grid, C# .Net Core 2.1, and upgraded to 3.2 during development. The IDEs used both include VS Code and Visual Studio 2017 and 2019. The website was built and deployed using Concourse and Pivotal Cloud Foundry.- Created new functionality and maintained a number of legacy applications written using ASP, Bootstrap, VB .Net, C#, MVC, web-based, embedded, and desktop apps.- I helped put on learning sessions on various different technologies, One was after a week-long training on UI/UX Frontend Architecture. Another training session was based on components from the project I had been working on at the time. -

Created SSRS reports for the application and wired them into the MVC 4.0 web app. Technologies used were C#, ReSharper, Javascript, SQL 2008 R2, T-SQL, and Bootstrapper. - Worked on the Costuming Operations Management Information Tool (COMIT) for the custom costuming department for Hollywood Studios. Created stored procedures using T-SQL to be used to create the reports for the application. Also helped to improve the relationship between the team and the business partner. Technologies used were SQL 2008 R2, T-SQL, and HP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM). -
