Kevin is one of the most experienced clinicians within trauma aftercare services in the UK. He joined CCP in 1998 and was responsible for carrying out and supervising clinical interventions, developing and delivering crisis care training and ensuring quality and consistency in the delivery of all CCP’s work. During the past twenty years he has carried out hundreds of interventions both in the UK and worldwide following critical incidents and was part of the clinical team which responded to the 1999 South Africa coach crash in which 28 holidaymakers were killed and the 1999 Gerona plane crash. More recent high profile incidents include the Sharm el Sheik bombings; the London bombings; the Corfu carbon monoxide tragedy; the polar bear attack in Spitsbergen, Norway; the Costa Concordia tragedy; the plane crash in Nepal; the response to survivors of the Tunisia terrorist attack; and support to RWE concerning the Didcot power station tradgedy. In addition to his clinical work, Kevin has extensive experience in training a wide range of personnel within the financial, travel, energy industries and local authority settings, ranging from senior management teams, to overseas representatives, cabin crew and telephone crisis response teams.He retired at the end of 2019 and is now awaiting his next adventure.Specialties: Counselling; Trauma Aftercare; Training;
