Independent Newspapers is Ireland’s leading newspaper publishing group.Role included the development of marketing programs in the educational sector designed to grow circulation. I also managed the production of media campaigns and negotiated sponsorship/ media partnerships. 'Eureka', a primarily school science magazine I managed, won the World Young Reader Prize 2005.

STA is the NSW government agency then responsible for Sydney Buses and Sydney Ferries.Starting on a 3 month contract, I progressed through various marketing and communications roles over 3 years.Roles included the development of passenger information solutions that improved service and reduced costs, representing STA on inter-agency and government projects, and developing marketing/ PR/ media initiatives to grow patronage.

Role included complete sales responsibility for key south Dublin city licensed trade accounts including major hotel groups, restaurants, pubs and clubs.

Planning and activation of Coca-Cola's involvement in sales, marketing and PR promotions and events.I negotiated with event organisers, promoters and other agencies to maximise impact. Events included the Tour de France (Irish stages), music festivals (incl. Slane, Point) and sporting events (incl. Rugby World Cup).
