Provided project management under the direction of the Program Manager on a large and highly complex and geographically distributed team associated with military customs-clearance modernization that included: 1) Management of a team of software testers who conducted and documented test procedures, test cases and scenarios for the DoD Customs Clearance System. Coordinated customer-observed evaluations. 2) Management of a team of technical writers to develop user manuals, operating procedures, and training materials in support of the on-line customs clearance systems used in Germany and South Korea, that was developed by ManTech’s software engineering team in WV. 3) Setting up of two urgent need mission critical ManTech host nation customs clearance support offices in Frankfurt and Cologne Germany and one US-based Help Desk operation covering multiple shifts to process inbound US Military cargo to support the Global War on Terror. 4) Training of all user groups (Commercial, DoD, Contractors, US and Host Nation government, and Help Desk) in the use of the DoD e-customs clearance system, this included 84 different commercial carrier companies, such as UPS, FedEx, DHL, and many others, plus many Army and Air Force users in Germany and South Korea. Trained approximately 180 logistics professionals.

Responsible for overall operations of procurement and supply distribution for a 120-bed medical facility, 25 clinical departments and 16 local physician offices. Provided cost containment services by managing warehouse stocking levels, pursuing bulk buying opportunities, and vetting all new product requests for savings and contract compliance. Closely monitored product usage, expiration dates and rotated stock to eliminate product waste. Implemented clinical and corporate cost savings initiatives, purchased reprocessed items, and aligned trucking levels to keep supply costs contained and under budget. Provided Materials Management Information Systems administrative and supply dispensing system support services, to include system access administration, data management, and system troubleshooting.

Developed a production planning process for efficiently planning 21 production lines. Transformed the current forecasting method from a 2-week forecast using a calculator and a #2 pencil to a 2½ year dynamic, Excel-based planning method. The new process was instrumental in reducing inventory waste and improving inventory with a variance of < .001% of 9.2 M units.

TECHNICIAN: Performed preventative and corrective maintenance on shipboard RADAR, IFF, display, and navigation equipment to include component level repair. Read blueprints and schematic diagrams. Sole operator of the ship’s electronics calibration laboratory. Managed shipboard test equipment inventory and calibration tracking system, interfaced with 10 different workshops and maintained over 400 pieces of Electronic/Electrical Test Equipment.INSTRUCTOR: Provided expertise in electronics technologies and military protocol, payroll, employee assistance programs, and career development. Managed operation and certification of the on-ship test equipment calibration laboratory to include coordinating with shore and OEM calibration activities.
