• Record and process illegal discharge complaints from the public, and assign cases to the IDDE inspection team to protect stormdrains within San Jose. • Provide front-line customer service support to the public by answering phone calls and emails with general inquiries, receiving and delivering packages, and parking validation. • Process and file industrial compliance and inspection reports, and route documentation from the Regional Wastewater Facility to San Jose City Hall. • Maintain purchasing databases through Quickbooks and Excel with updated vendor lists, accessible documentation for orders, and refine documentation procedures, including tracking fiscal year expenditures to ensure compliance with PO contract limits. • Procure assets through contracted vendors and credit purchases to support the Department, such as laboratory and office supplies, ergonomic equipment, and processing associated banking statements and vendor invoices. • Provide additional support to clerical group as needed, including but not limited to quality control, conference room scheduling, inventory management, and processing incoming/outgoing mail.
