Tate Entertaining was a great view into the world of service with a smile. In the almost 3 years that I worked there I went from casual Bar Staff and tray holder to Event supervisor and finally becoming a Junior Event Manager, full time, before returning to University to complete my degree. Tate Entertaining was an incredibly dynamic team that had to pull together on events ranging from tea and coffee for the 4 Directors of TATE to a drinks reception for 100 or dinner for 500 sitting for a meal and Televised performances in the Turbine hall of Tate Modern. It really was a fantastic opportunity to learn how to deliver a multi-faceted and complicated event, on incredibly tight timings and to the highest standard possible.
