Profile bio

About Kevin Tovar

Over the years I have been blessed with some of the most interesting career opportunities. Early on I began my walk though life in real-estate consulting working for a CPA/Consulting company which led me to the construction homebuilding industry traveling the US and Mexico learning how to build homes and communities. Eventually my community home building experience led me to the utility industry which provided me the opportunity to work on some of the most interesting and fun projects you can imagine. Some of these projects focused on promoting clean energy which included industrial roof-top solar and assisting in the building of major transmission projects to promote clean energy. The fun really started when I became the fleet planning and strategy manager which allowed me to focus on how best to transition a fleet of ~6,500 vehicles from burning gas and diesel over to electricity. Most recently my role has changed to focus 100% on EV adoption and EV Infrastructure to enable EV adoption of SCE’s fleet.

Listed skills include Contract Management, Contract Negotiation, Construction Management, Supply Chain Optimization, and 5 others.
