Osaro is a leading AI / machine learning / full solution company based in San Francisco specializing in vision and control systems for industrial robotics. Responsible for all aspects of engineering at Osaro including AI / deep learning / neural network architectures, robot motion control / planning software, hardware, and mechanical.

Inform is a leader in the digital media industry. I was responsible for all aspects of engineering including cutting edge data analytics / big data / data science development initiatives as well as innovative field proven AI / machine learning implementations. Built out a highly reliable cloud based compute / storage / database infrastructure running at scale (8 billion page views per month).

Responsible for all aspects of engineering / product development at Calix. Calix is the dominant supplier of access switching equipment to service providers in the US. Revenue grew to over $400M and aggregate product shipments exceeded $2B under my leadership. Calix had a successful IPO on the NYSE (CALX) in 2010.

Hammerhead Systems developed an innovative next generation family of networking products geared towards the large service provider market. I lead the engineering team on the development and full productization of a switching system implementing ground breaking / comprehensive networking functionality and followed that up with a cutting edge development initiative on a next generation ultra-high capacity switch.

Founding VP of Engineering, lead the startup phase in establishing company strategy, fund raising, team building, and product architecture. Primary ongoing responsibility focused on the development of the Mi7 product line, a state-of-the-art high speed network element geared towards the needs of large network service providers. Lead a stellar / high performance team of engineers with responsibility for all aspects of product development. Mahi Networks was acquired by Meriton / Xtera in 2005.

Member of founding team initially focused on architecture / design transitioning to management / executive leadership as the company scaled from the ground floor startup phase. Promoted to VP Development Engineering with responsibility for all aspects of engineering / product development at ADA. Played a key role in managing the company through challenging high growth transitions while achieving major success in an extremely demanding network service provider market. ADA had a successful IPO on the NASDAQ (ADAX) in 1994.
