About The KTR Leadership Institute: We provide effective mentoring programs which train and carefully match young minds with their interest creating a sustainable opportunity for career advancement. The KTR Leadership Institute provides ongoing support to maintain and improve the mentoring relationship. To meet these goals, our group learns about and develops ties to organizations in the community that offer services or provide information that would be helpful for those we are mentoring. We inform our mentees of available resources and encourage them to use them and recommend them to others as appropriate. The KTR Leadership Institute develops youth mentorship programs that teach entrepreneurial skills, boost self-esteem and helps organize their collective FOCUS. We decided to start our own program servicing a need for our youth to become empowered with the life skills to succeed in a competitive marketplace. We provide our mentees with sound advice and accurate information on issues ranging from schoolwork to family relationships to peer pressure, along with continuous training for economics at empowerment seminars. We match academic and interpersonal skills of the mentor with the educational needs of the youth being tutored.
