Someone recently asked me what I like to do for fun. After taking a moment to think about it, I started listing things I genuinely enjoy, like playing drums and working out.They then asked if I golf or bowl and I quickly said, “absolutely NOT.” It was an interesting moment because I felt like I needed to list more “fun” stuff I enjoy doing. That’s when I realized: outside of my main hobbies, I get the most enjoyment from building my business, especially my sportswear brand, GLM. I spent 12 years building a successful financial planning business from scratch - no network, no inherited knowledge about money or business, just pure determination. That experience was a huge learning curve and major accomplishment for me. But over time, I became captivated with physical training, mindset, e-commerce and inspiring others through brand-building and products. This led me to go full-time with my sportswear company, where I’m now focused on taking it to new heights. At my core, I believe my calling in life is to inspire people. Building businesses has been my way of doing that. I make decisions based more on passion, purpose, and direction than on money.Through my entrepreneurial journey, I’ve learned a ton about life, business and how the world works.
