Kevin was raised in the Historic Westside of Las Vegas, NV. With the love and labor of multiple Black womxn, his upbringing is rooted in Louisiana southern values. Born from a lineage of African, Creole, and Indigenous ancestry, Dr. Wright currently serves as a Senior Racial Equity Facilitator and Consultant. Kevin is responsible for raising consciousness, building skills and developing strategies to socialize and operationalize equity efforts throughout organizations. Wright's commitment to racial justice, equity, and inclusion is rooted in his approach with shifting cultures and processes one system at a time to advocate for individuals with historically marginalized identities.Dr. Wright, a TRIO alum, is also an award-winning educator, best-selling author, and notable public speaker who specializes in the areas of culturally responsive leadership development, personal and professional transformation, and social justice education. Dr. Wright has reached over 100,000 learners from institutions and companies across 5 continents, and has produced scholarship on various topics while serving as an educational consultant. As an advocate for equity and liberation, Dr. Wright also serves as a Certified Financial Education Instructor and Financial Literacy Advocate to support people from historically marginalized backgrounds reframe their relationship to money while creating intergenerational wealth.
