I am developing software for acoustic microscopy - image analysis and measurements, device control. Prior to this I spent many years writing analysis software for fluorescence microscopy, as well as controlling multidimensional (XYZT) microscopy acquisition systems. That includes analysis for ratio imaging, FRET, DNA/RNA microarrays, brightfield pathology, etc. I've also implemented 3d volume rendering in OpenGL, and investigated OpenCL for large scale 3D deconvolution operations. I'm a skilled software engineer with a track record of creating and managing the engineering of innovative and successful advanced image analysis products. I greatly enjoy applying imaging advanced methods to reduce complex problems to straightforward results. The most important goal is to _produce results_ for the user, to be guided by their needs. The interface presented to them must match their environment, training, and mindset to be useful. I'm interested in image analysis development, including industrial and biomedical 2D and 3D, vision systems, and robotics. Meanwhile I'm taking ongoing coursework in machine intelligence, including a specialization in Deep Learning. I consider it critical to continue to learn.
