I have enjoyed all things water since my early childhood. This includes surfing, fishing, boating, sailing as well as helping family and friends with technology related devices. This grew into my interest in taking all types of mechanical and electrical devices apart, and putting them back together with the intention of returning them to good working order. My career began after graduating college and obtaining my maritime captain's license. I also moonlighted as an outboard engine mechanic, marine electrical/Instrumentation rigging tech, fiberglass repair guru and a navigation instructor in order to make ends meet. Professionaly my career has since spanned over several decades in the environmental and water technology industry. I have had the opportunity to travel the world helping solve all types of water related challenges for thousands of organizations and customers leveraging emerging technology. I have always focused on the customer with a keen appreciation of all cultures globally. One of my first projects was measuring the volume of water used to deluge the launch gantry of the NASA space shuttle during take-off and one of my last was helping to mitigate nutrient runoff impacting the surface waters within the country of Thailand. I recognize there is still an exceptional amount to learn. I have measured my success on the reputation of my actions, the leadership I have contributed to develop others and being a steward for natural resources for our future generations. All while having fun when possible and striving for continued inspiration along the journey.
