Provides Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) Cybersecurity support to the Future Operationally Resilient Ground Evolution (FORGE) Space Sensing (SN) Directorate. Manages system security architecture, and evaluates security controls for technical implementation.

Working within Special Access Programs (SAPs) supporting the Combined Force Space Component Command and U.S. Space Command. The position provides "day-to-day" support for Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Special Access Program (SAP) activities to meet NIST Cybersecurity requirements for system assessment & authorization. Leads a team of Information System Security Engineers, System Administrators, and Network Administrators, responsible for ensuring the customer's national and international security interests are protected. Perform oversight of the development, implementation and evaluation of information system security program policy; special emphasis placed upon integration of existing SAP network infrastructures. Provides expert level consultation and technical services on all aspects of Information Security. Develops and provides Cybersecurity risk management recommendations. Works directly with approval/accreditation authorities to obtain systems' Authorization to Operate.

Directly manages security incidents (e.g., coordinate documentation, work efforts, resource utilization within the organization) from inception to final after-action reporting. Coordinates enterprise incident response efforts, including command and control functions, in response to cyber security incidents. Writes and publishes cyber incident reports detailing incident findings, mitigation, and remediation recommendations. Provides training on commonly used cyber security tools. Develops and documents incident response guidance, processes, and procedures. Experience in leading, developing teams, and programs to meet customer needs.

Managed all pre-award and post-award contracting support functions with direction from the supported official. Developed critical dates/milestones for contract pre/post-award actions and conducts due diligence follow-up requests. Directed Performance Work Statement (PWS) development, Statement of Needs, Independent Government Cost Estimate (IGCE) estimates, and Contracting Officer Representative (COR)/Invoice. Performed a monthly review of all contract deliverables. Managed all contract administration duties with the contracting officer, and contract program manager. Validates all Period of Performance (PoP) milestones in the Program Management Review (PMR).

Installs, supports and maintains server operating systems or other computer systems and the software applications pertinent to its operation, while also ensuring current defensive mechanisms are in place. Responds to service outages and interruptions to network operations. Administers server-based networked systems, distributed applications, network storage, messaging, and application monitoring required to provision, sustain, operate and integrate cyber networked systems and applications in garrison and at deployed locations. Core competencies include: server operating systems, database administration, web technologies, systems-related project management and supervising cyber systems. Supports identification, reconnaissance and remediation of vulnerabilities while enhancing capabilities within cyber environments to achieve desired affects.

Senior Network Specialist for over 20 military personnel and 3 contractors.

Responsible for all aspects of IT incident management and escalation, ensuring that incidents are effectively escalated, managed, and resolved with full communication of status, plans, and actions. Directs system and network engineers, integrators, and system developers. Coordinates with customers and system developers in reporting problems and implementing resolutions to anomalies. Develops daily status reports and examining metrics to ensure all system performance requirements meet or exceed customer expectations.

Responsible for all aspects of IT incident management and escalation, ensuring that incidents are effectively escalated, managed, and resolved with full communication of status, plans, and actions.Managed all external data events, outages, incidents, threats, and technical vulnerabilities. Investigated and responded to the United States Special Operations Command’s requests for information (RFIs). Coordinated approvals and mitigation for authorized service interruptions (ASIs) to senior leadership.

Performed administration of desktop systems and servers connected to local and wide area networks. Directed desktop system management responsibilities involving account monitoring, security and operating system installation. Provided local and remote support for incident escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.

Managed COMSEC requirements for 20 accounts, ensuring implementation of secure processes, providing coordination of tasks/activation/deactivation of all equipment, monitoring, reporting, and receiving controlled cryptographic items (CCI) inventory. Conducted COMSEC account management and inspection of all government owned CCI devices. Initiates, generates keys, orders, test, and verify keys for operations.
