As a Regional Manager, it is my primary responsibility to ensure our stores and managers meet company standards and where necessary, make decisions to meet them. I spend my days scheduling to ensure our stores are covered and open for business; site checks to verify the staff is working towards a financial goal, taking care of the customer, and that we maintain clean facilities; training, coaching and development of new and current team members; maintaining and executing SOP; meetings with upper management to receive information to pass on to my team of new policies, standards and expectations; reviewing reports and P&L statements to determine where we can save money or best practices to make money; and much more. Since the company headquarters are in my backyard, I have the privilege of interacting with the staff frequently and assist with the implementation of new initiatives and software changes.

As a property manager, it is my responsibility to ensure the site best represents the company values of Easy, Clean, Service. Everything we do affects the customer which in turn affects the business. I started as a part-time manager at the first site the company purchased in Nebraska. Within 6mo, I was able to successfully take over the site as manager. Throughout my time as a manager, I assisted my regional manager with a variety of tasks and projects. This included: supply orders; inventory control; maintenance on gates and doors to save money on outside costs; acquisitions in several markets including Iowa and Minnesota; training new team members; verification of documents to prepare for lien sales; and much more. I have managed properties in Lincoln and Omaha, and traveled to assist in other areas such as Kansas City, Hopkins and Chaska Minnesota.
