Peabody Creative was established in 2011 as an independent illustration, design & education studio. I work with clients both large and small typically on a contract or project-to-project basis. In this role I worked as an independent, contract patent illustrator for P&G IP & Legal Division working directly with their internal illustration group. - Direct correspondence with attorneys, engineers, & inventors across P&G brands through email, phone & video calls, and occasionally in-person meetings . - Facilitate and execute both utility and design patent drawings with technical precision following the US & International guidelines for patent applications using Adobe CS. - Interpret CAD renderings, hand drawings, photo reference, Microsoft Office documents, PDF's to make sure patent illustrations were created precise and accurately. -Managed office actions and revisions in drawings that were rejected by the patent examiners. Collaborating with my business partner, we worked as a team to create new ideation, illustration + design for creative wood working products along with commemorative and public art. Fabrication for all of the projects was completed by hand using creative wood working, shop tools, along with industrial laser engraving and CNC router.

In charge of setting up our own travel arrangements and collaborating with schools and educators to provide presentations for the college. Contributed to the art direction of the traveling presentation program along with the digital and print media that was used for recruitment when visiting schools across the country.

Responsibilities included design + illustration, pre-press set-up, file organization, color separation, collaboratively communicate with clients from inception to completion of project, project management, washing screens, manual set-up of smaller screen printing presses, pulling shirts out of curing ovens, run heat transfer machines, facilitate file set-up for embroidery and run embroidery machines. With my art team facilitated ideation, art direction, and final designs and printing of a line of resort wear for two shops in Mackinac island. Provided art direction along with design + illustration for numerous designs to print on-site out of a mobile screen-printing semi-truck during Sturgis and Myrtle Beach Bike Week.
