Kevin Monahan is a General Manager at ESPC at ESPC. Colleagues describe them as "I’ve been incredibly lucky to have Kevin, not only as my manager but also as a mentor for my career as a designer and manager at the CBI. Kevin is an exceptional leader and our whole team respect and admire his experience and guidance. During his time as Director of Marketing at the CBI, he built a new team from the ground up which not only revolutionised the way that the CBI delivered marketing and design, but there was a knock-on culture change throughout the business, making it look at communications and project working in a whole new light. Under his leadership, the team went on to deliver transformational projects such as implementing marketing automation, a brand refresh, a new website and digital magazine, a significant amount of successful events and more. I have always admired Kevin’s drive, incredibly high standards, his kind and caring nature and ability to charm a whole room. It’s this deadly combination of skills that brings people together to achieve beyond expectations, time and time again. Our in-house team were shortlisted for a digital award against London’s top branding agencies (looking after Coke, Evian and O2) to illustrate! He nails the art of allowing the team to have ‘autonomy, mastery and purpose’ in such a seemingly effortless way, however, I know that he’s always seeking this for himself and constantly improving. Even though his mastery of marketing and leadership is incredibly high, I have so much respect for his attitude to work and life in seeking improvement and curiosity for new ways of looking at things. Any employee would be lucky to have Kevin as a manager, you’ll work harder than you ever have before, but you’ll enjoy it and impress yourself with what is possible. I will sincerely miss ‘the best manager I’ve ever had’, especially his words of wisdom and inspirational quotes… I thought I would return the favour, Kevin, “a rock will stand still… unless it is moving”. ;) " and "Kevin’s a unique talent who was part of a hugely successful journey with us.
