In the recent United Student Movement (USM) elections, along with four Vice-Presidents, I was elected President of the movement to serve for the academic year 2014-2015. On September 18, 2014 I was inaugurated as the 79th President of the USM.

I function as a tutor of the course "College Algebra" for all students registered each semester.

Recruit new students and assist them in the orientation process.

I am one of the teachers responsible for training, grooming and coaching the members of the May Day High School Debate Team which represents the institution nationally at various competitions and seeks to inspire other students from other institutions to choose debating as a viable means of developing critical thinking and conflict resolution skills.

Instructor Duties included:• Designing and teaching assigned courses and/or workshops, including preparation of a course and/or workshop curriculum;• Developing and maintaining lesson plans and course curriculum;• Attending regularly scheduled meetings with your Curriculum Advisor to discuss course and student progress;• Providing a safe and effective learning environment for program students by maintaining classroom spaces and materials to appropriate standards; and• Performing additional duties as may be assigned to you.Residential Advisor duties included:• Advising a group of students in personal, social, and academic matters;• Providing a healthy, safe, and engaging living environment for the program’s students;• Developing, implementing, and leading group activities for Program students;• Chaperoning resident program students on evening and weekend trips;• Attending regularly scheduled meetings with Residence or Day Directors in connection with development and implementation group activities for the program’s students; and• Performing additional duties related to the program’s students as requested by Exploration School.
